I just got a review back from Razorcake of the split w/ Blue Shift. Check it out:
DALETH / BLUE SHIFT - "Split" CD-R
On one hand, nice work on recycling the packaging of old dollar-bin records for this release, especially with the awesome green on grey silk-screened cover, though I was a bit disappointed to just find a CD-R inside. As far as the music itself goes, Daleth's got a riff-heavy thing going on, somewhat like dark stoner rock ala Sword or The Fucking Wrath, though with a bit more speed thrown in there and a recording that's pretty ragged than those bands. Still, not bad, especially considering it's one dude doing everything himself and he laid the drum tracks down first without having any idea what the rest of the music would sound like. Blueshift is one woman hammering it out on a violin-the resulting cacophony is loud and abrasive enough to peel skin. All told, there are some really interesting ideas at play here, sonically and visually, but it's a bit too cerebral for my tastes. (Keith Rosson - Razorcake #46)
I'm pleased with it!

My grandmother passed away about a week ago, kind of setting me back for a bit. It wasn't a surprise, and I'm glad that things ended up the way that they did. Thank you to all of my friends for their concern. Your support is greatly appreciated.
Speaking of appreciating things, I've started to get some reviews back of my side of the Blue Shift split. Thank you to all the blogs who have been reviewing, listening, and posting my material. One review comes from the "Just as the day was Dawning" music blog:
"A one man sludge band. That feels weird to say but there is nothing bad about this in the least. Daleth is just that. One man has made a perfect sludge record and all by himself. I really don't have anything to say because this has left me speechless."
"99 Miles of Bad Blogs":
"a one man inferno...this stuff is very good..."
And so on. So thank you again to everyone who has supported my project. If you've ended up here and downloaded my releases, you can still find some of titles in print from my distributors. I'll be posting a brand new MP3 within a week or so, stay tuned!
